was formed in early 1995, by Gerry Doyle V.N, P.H.C

has dedicated her career to caring for animals. Beginning in 1986, with
weekend jobs as a veterinary surgery kennel maid and stablehand whilst
still at school, she studied veterinary nursing and graduated with a
credit pass to become the head nurse of a small animal veterinary practice
in south London. She also qualified as a pet health counsellor, (similar
to a human practice nurse) with further training in all aspects of care,
including behavioural therapy, and has gained extra certificates in
nutrition.

early 1995, Gerry found herself being asked on occasion to feed cats
belonging to surgery clients she had grown friendly with. These owners
found their pets were so much happier having been left in their familiar
surroundings and the clients themselves had been reassured knowing someone
was checking on their empty properties daily.
y 1998, Aristocats had
grown enormously by recommendation and developed into a full time pet
minding service which Gerry now manages herself, with the assistance of
several part time staff.
